On October 29th 2001 the Year 6 children from our school and four other schools in our pyramid went to Aylmerton Field Study Centre in North Norfolk. We stayed for four nights. The weather was really warm and mostly sunny for the time of year. Daniel said, "My favourite activities were the low ropes (click on the right hand picture and see how brave Zak is!) and the Monster Trail, where we got squirted by the monsters who hid behind the bushes, as we tried to find clues using a map and compass." Elliott said, "I liked the Night Hike which included a spooky story told in a quiet church. Everyone went ARGHHHHHH and jumped when the storyteller screamed at the scary bit in the story!" Fifi thought " the Team Building activities were really enjoyable. (Click on the left hand picture and see Fifi and Becky's group try to get through the spider's web) The rope harness to the ship was also hard to do but we all got across in the end (click on second picture from the right." Ruby remembers the walk across the mud to Blakeney Point with horror! " I fell over three times and didn't find many cockles. (click on the picture second from the left to see me and Harriet searching for them with wind and spray in our faces!) On Monday we went to West Runton Beach to search for wildlife in the rock pools. I found a starfish, some crabs and water shrimps. Then we found a stunning fish which sadly was dead!" Another group went in November 2002. Hannah Adam, Daniel R, Nico and Daniel S. show you some of the activities they did on pages made up on 'publisher.
