This Sports section has a number of sporting successes
from the past. Below are some more up to date events.

tournament at Framlingham but failed to reach the semi-finals. The action shot
was taken in the draw against Hoxne School.
The Cross Country was held on Friday 24th March 2006 at Mellis

The uni-hoc team on the

will be held on March 13th 2006. They had earlier been top of a league of four
teams at Debenham Leisure Centre. There were too many teams to have the whole
tournament on the same day.
The basketball team on the right took part in a tournament on
February 24th and played well despite not reaching the semi-finals.

2002 saw more success. Winners of the Small Schools Rugby Tournament and

Last year was a very successful one in sport, particularly in football. The
football team were unbeaten. The top two photos show the six a
side team after triumphing in the High Suffolk Small Schools' Tournament at
Framlingham last May. The trophy was presented by Mr Walker the organiser whose
school Dennington, were the losing finalists.
In netball the girls got to the semi-final of their tournament and pictures
from their day at Stradbroke in early May are in the bottom row of the above
photos.
